I don’t know about you guys but the rest of this year looks absolutely STRESSFUL for me! I have a little under 2 weeks left of this first quarter and whew, it has been a pretty demanding one. I think I am writing this more for myself because during times like this, I tend to just say forget what it is that I really need to get through this time: taking care of me. It’s more than just making sure I eat more than one meal a day or get an adequate amount of sleep, it’s getting in tuned with myself and making sure I am really okay through this. One of my self-made issues is that I tend to put my mental on hold while I have these stressful moments which only makes me suffer more. Yeah I’ll get it all done but at the expense of digging myself into a deeper hole? Absolutely not. If this year has taught me anything, it’s that the one thing I can no longer afford to do is take a backseat on MY journey. Lately, i’ve been neglecting myself and it’s been showing. Poor me has been going through it y’all lol but, I know it’s nothing I can’t handle. just tired of handling it 😂😩.
So like I said, this was going to be a quick check-in. I felt like expressing somewhere that taking care of yourself is so vital. “It is so important to take time for yourself and find clarity. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.”
