I don’t know about you guys but the rest of this year looks absolutely STRESSFUL for me! I have a little under 2 weeks left of this first quarter and whew, it has been a pretty demanding one. I think I am writing this more for myself because during times like this, I tend to just say forget what it is that I really need to get through this time: taking care of me. It’s more than just making sure I eat more than one meal a day or get an adequate amount of sleep, it’s getting in tuned with myself and making sure I am really okay through this. One of my self-made issues is that I tend to put my mental on hold while I have these stressful moments which only makes me suffer more. Yeah I’ll get it all done but at the expense of digging myself into a deeper hole? Absolutely not. If this year has taught me anything, it’s that the one thing I can no longer afford to do is take a backseat on MY journey. Lately, i’ve been neglecting myself and it’s been showing. Poor me has been going through it y’all lol but, I know it’s nothing I can’t handle. just tired of handling it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜©.

So like I said, this was going to be a quick check-in. I felt like expressing somewhere that taking care of yourself is so vital. β€œIt is so important to take time for yourself and find clarity. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.”
