It’s been 5 months. Ouch. I want to get back to this. I stopped writing for a couple of reasons. I felt I was oversharing at one point. I felt like people were reading my posts and going, “Damn, she’s nuts”. I allowed my own insecurities to rob me of yet another tool that was helping me process what I was going through on a daily. Being able to have this small space to just let it out really was helping me and I just want to say, to those who were reading and sending me love, reaching out to me and saying how you could relate and I was saying things you were too scared to express, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s been hard. I live in my head a lot, I can’t process my emotions and feelings the way I would hope to but that’s okay. I’m still learning, still figuring this whole thing out. It’s been a year and some change since I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder along with other things and let me tell y’all, it’s been a rollercoaster ride for sure. Trying to decipher whether or not I’m feeling some type of way because that’s how I really for or because my brain is doing its weird “overthink it all 😈” thing. I let the smallest thing like forgetting to put my juice back in the fridge take me out and spiral into thinking about… let’s not go there just yet 😂 But all in all, this is me just saying for one, sorry for the break. I needed it though. I missed this and I love being able to express myself in this space. It makes it a little easier to express myself outside of this platform. So, I’m not going to say when I’ll post or how frequently because I don't know. BUT!!! I will be back. I’ll see you when I see you and again, as always, thank you for understanding and still being here with me. 🤍
I know some of you like my music taste and I just recently made a running playlist called, “Sing with me” which is all the songs I’ve had on repeat lately. I hope you enjoy and I'll try to incorporate more music in my posts because that’s what helps get me going.
